The fresh fruit and vegetable section offers numerous varieties of Australian grown potatoes, tomatoes grown from seed imported from Sicily and a wide variety of chilled artisan herbs, to name but just a few items from what is always an exceptional seasonal market range.

Danks St Depot Cafe & Bar

Founded by Melanie Starr & Jared Ingersoll on principles of the Slow Food movement, the Danks Street Depot first opened it's doors in February 2002.

The principles of the Slow Food movement - practising sustainable and ethical principles in sourcing raw ingredients to create delicious and nutritious cuisine - are followed to the letter at the Dank St Depot where all menus feature the best in locally available seasonal produce.

Open 7 days for breakfast until 11am, lunch until 3pm and dinner (Thursday to Saturday) 6-10pm.

A drink can also be enjoyed in the comfortable cocktail bar chosen by Tourism New South Wales & Vogue Magazine as 'a must when visiting New South Wales'.

Since moving into the 2000 square metre gallery in the PYD Building in Waterloo, The Country Trader has joined the busy Danks St design and arts precinct as a major attraction for both retail and trade customers.
