Versa Robes: A case study in how not to run a business
Changed installation date (x3) & quote (x4). Refused to return full deposit after duping me to pay it to book job. Non-itemised quote that jumped $700 from verbal quote previous week. Concocted ‘Admin Fee’ ($220) when I asked for deposit back. LIED to Consumer Affairs saying I’d been informed at time I paid deposit there would be a $220 ‘Admin fee’ that was written in the Terms & Conditions (it wasn’t). I’ve not decided whether to take it to VCAT but even with the money they pocketed I'm still $700 better off having gone with an ethical company. Almara & Perfect Australian Wardrobes both quoted within a dollar of each other & were $900+ cheaper than VR. But if you want to a bunch unreliable, unscrupulous money-grabbing amateurs who make it up as they go along - Versa Robes is for you.

Not The Quality Promised
The materials used were quality but were poorly fitted together with screws and cheap vinyl stickers, even on the flat usable surfaces where they will obviously rub off.

Just a quick note to say thank you for the excellent service and workmanship provided in the installation of my new built in wardrobe.
