Dewhurst Furniture was established in 1911 by John Dewhurst. His father also came over to work with his son from Burnley U.K. Roy and Alan, John's sons joined the company and learnt the trade. Since then Dewhurst Furniture has trained many fine tradesmen including the directors today.

We have always done various restoration and repairs to all types of furniture from reproduction to storm damage. Re-polishing and re-upholstery can be done with access to a vast number of specialised sub-contractors. You can be assured your loved piece will be looked after by professionals.

Kitchens are something that has been done in the past only by special request for exclusive clients. We offer kitchens with special characteristics and quality rarely seen in the industry. We take the quality standards used by us in a piece of furniture and apply them to kitchens, it's all the little things that make the difference. Cabinetry

We make custom made cabinetry of all kinds. From traditional replicas to modern architectural designs, in solid timber or veneers. Our cabinetry can be built in or free standing. So if you have an idea or just an empty space in your home give us a call and we can design the right piece for you.
